Why Kiss and Sell?

Why “Kiss and Sell”?

Well, it’s a name I came up with a few years ago for a staging business that a friend of mine, actor Thelma Farmer (now a realtor in Halifax) and I were thinking about creating in Montreal. It’s a play on “Kiss and Tell,” of course, but it’s also what realtors do for our clients. We get your houses looking as fresh and inviting as a debutante ball  (that’s the staging side of things). We encourage potential suitors to drop by and get introduced at Open Houses. And then we invite proposals.

So we “kiss” – which means making sure that we present your home at its best to prospective buyers — and we “sell.” But unlike those gentlemen who never “kiss and tell,” we make sure prospective buyers know everything they need to know about the property they’re considering so that they can make informed decisions.

(And yes, that means telling them about the leaky roof, if I can’t persuade you to fix it before I list your home).
